Relationship fundraising is fundraising where people matter most, a sort of Fritz Schumacher [a 20th century German-British statistician and economist] approach to fundraising. Schumacher invented the concept “small is beautiful” and through his book of that name started the appropriate technology movement, which concentrates on using only low-cost, available materials rather than expensive imported technology.
