Paul Arlman was Secretary General of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges from 1998 to 2005. He is a founding Board Member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI). Between 2001 and 2003 he was Chairman of the Industry Advisory Committee to the European Parliamentary Financial Services Forum (EPFSF). From 1990 to 1997, he was the Secretary General of the Amsterdam Stock Exchange Association, and previously he was on the Board of the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg and worked for the Netherlands Ministry of Finance.
