This is the chapter you've all been waiting for! It's going to be super, super juicy—think TMZ meets the Wall Street Journal. We're not holding back here at all. There is a right way to build community and there is a wrong way. Unfortunately, too many people built it the wrong way and a group of self‐appointed crypto and cartoon elite protected these bad actors. They continuously supported them and made us all think they were building community the right way. We believed these voices that validated these bad actors, and these individuals persuaded a lot of innocent people to make very bad investment decisions. You can't build a thriving community when your only motivation is to financially benefit yourself and no one else. The lines are somewhat blurred between what makes someone a liar, cheater, scammer, or cash grabber, but we're going to unblur those lines and methodically delineate each one and call them out so you can know how to be vigilantly aware of these predators.

In many respects this chapter is a manifesto against the cartoon and crypto elite—people who thought they were better than everyone else.
