PART   VII

Postproduction

The game development process does not end when the game is code released and on store shelves, although this is when many development teams consider a project to be completed. However, important steps still must be taken in order to officially wrap production on the game. A closing kit must be created, which archives the game code and assets for future use, and a postmortem needs to be conducted with the team.

This section discusses the tasks to complete before officially ending the game development cycle. Topics include the following:

• Completing a Postmortem

• Creating Closing Kits
