Making Work-Out Work for You
AT THE END, it all comes back to how simple Work-Out really is. The background and the theory help explain the idea’s force. The ways others have used it help with new implementations. But you can strip away all the trimmings. Just bring people together to work on a common problem. Allow them to recommend specific changes that make their jobs easier. Share the ideas with a manager who makes decisions on the spot and appoints owners who volunteer to follow up and make sure the decisions get put into effect. That’s the real Work-Out. It’s that simple. But it’s not necessarily easy.
