2    The Geometric Supposer in the Classroom

Gary Simon, a mathematics teacher at Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School, meets his geometry class in the computer lab approximately two of five mornings each week. He hands students a problem as they come in to take their places, individually or in pairs, at one of the dozen computers in the room. The Supposer is already booted in the machines, so they get right to work on Simon’s instructions:
