15 DISASTROUS DELEGATION

I will now use an episode of my own experience as a case study for disastrous delegation.

What's important here is that nothing that follows reflects on anyone else's skills, intentions or ability, except my own. It is also fairly extreme, though hopefully that helps to make the point.

A business I launched had been established less than two years when I gave birth to my first child. I had no maternity leave for the first and little more for the second some 17 months later.
