2.2. SIX SPHERES OF INCLUSION MODEL

The Six Spheres of Inclusion[] (SSI) Model is a tool that helps us to understand what is at play in any global diversity encounter, either interpersonal or organizational. It allows us to break out of a domestic diversity bias that might thwart the broader development of employees and the organization itself.

This tool identifies six key areas that are core to global cross-cultural diversity interchanges—whether in a performance review, a sales call, a multicultural presentation, a team meeting, or a virtual conference call.
