Zambia is centrally located in Southern Africa. The country is landlocked, sharing borders with Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. Zambia is slightly larger than the state of Texas. The tropical climate’s rainy season runs from October to April. The country’s topography consists of high plateau with some hills and mountains.
