A few months have passed since Blair asked the team to update the process guide. Vincent, along with a few others, reworked the guide, renaming it the playbook. Its new name reflects that it is now a more user-friendly resource, with helpful checklists and visual aids organized in a way that supports the team, rather than a recitation of policy and rules. Vincent even led a couple of informational sessions to bring the team up to speed. Blair starts to notice concrete improvements in how quickly they now process standard contracts. Turnaround time has gone down quite a bit, and they’re reducing the backlog of work while building close relationships with the program managers.
