The most important aspect of shooting any type of green or blue screen project is the appropriate lighting. If the subject isn’t lit correctly or the green screen is too dark, too bright, or uneven, chances are you’ll have problems pulling a good matte. As in the other chapters in this part of this book, this chapter focuses on specific situations to show proper lighting techniques for both the background screen and the foreground subject. If you take away only one major thing from this book, it should really be THIS chapter!
