Communication is the most important means of interaction between people. It is a critical component of our relationships with others. The quality of our communication is important to our relationships, and this is what creates our social worlds. In destructive conflict situations, the quality of our communication is poor; it destroys our relationships and escalates and spreads conflict, perpetuating this destructive cycle.
