Introduction
This Director Education Policy (Policy) sets out procedures and practices regarding the Organization’s continuing education and development of incumbent Directors and incumbent Committee Members.
The Organization recognizes that a competent, effective, contributing, and engaged Board, Board Committees, and individual Directors ensure high standards of corporate governance, and strategic, performance, financial, and risk oversight in the best interests of the Organization.
The Governance and Nominating Committee (or the equivalent), with support from the Corporate Secretary (or the equivalent) and other relevant Senior Management, shall fulfill the following.
