The Hasselblad Image Formats

Hasselblad cameras are great tools in every field of photography from critical studio work to handheld location photography. Except for the XPan model, Hasselblad cameras are made for the medium format, which combines many of the advantages of 35mm photography and large format photography. By simply switching the magazine on the camera, you can record images on black and white or color film, on instant recording film, or electronically.

Although all medium format cameras use the same basic roll film size (120 or 220), the image format recorded in different cameras on film can be of different sizes, or you can obtain different image formats by using different film magazines.
