I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Six. Project: Yosemite National Park
I recently had the pleasure of teaching with one of my favorite photographers, Moose Peterson, at the Digital Landscape Workshop Series in Yosemite National Park in California. The opportunity to get out there and experiment with a different landscape was something that really called to me. For a couple of days, I found incredible opportunities to just stretch and recharge creatively while exploring this wonderful area.
Of course, I wanted to create some HDR images while I was there, but I knew that I would be fighting a couple of things: You see, as a rule, I don’t like shooting skies unless it’s during sunrise ...
