I traveled to Kansas City on a seminar tour, and stayed at the Hilton President Kansas City—a wonderful hotel over in the city’s Power & Light District. Despite being in a trendy area, the hotel retains a lot of Old World charm. When you step into the main lobby, you are immediately hit with a lot of ornate design. I instantly thought this would be a great HDR image. There was one problem: I did not have a tripod with me. Did that prevent me from making the shot? Absolutely not!
