Two. What to HDR
A couple years ago, I sat with Scott Kelby and Jeff Revell, taping the second episode of the talk show, The Grid. One of the topics of conversation that came up was whether HDR, as a technique, was dead. Jeff made a really good analogy for how users think about HDR photography. He called it the “Cinnabon analogy.” Basically, when someone first runs into a Cinnabon, they can’t get enough of it—the sweet goodness! In no time flat, they’re having Cinnabon all the time. Then, all of a sudden, they realize that they’re really not into it any more, because they’ve overdone it.
