WHERE DOES LIGHT COME FROM, anyway? In our world, it often comes from overhead lights or some sort of electrical fixture someplace in the room. But, when there is no electricity, it comes into the room through windows and doors.

This Tanzanian woman was one of the most courageous people I ever met. Blinded by trachoma, she would forage in the fields for vegetation with her feet. After gathering assorted greenery, she would bring it back to her hut in a woven basket. She knew the pathways and maneuvered them with the speed and dexterity of a sighted person.
