NO ALLIGATORS HERE, even though it looks like I’m with some bad asses up country in Cambodia. Which was the idea.
I was shooting a commercial job, producing a military calendar. The requirements of the job were painstaking. Make it look absolutely real. Real uniforms, real military protocol, real activity—just not real soldiers.
We had to cast talent for all our scenes, and then have that talent supervised by military advisors and trainers, usually retired vets who really knew what the deal was supposed to look like.
