Engaged employees go over and beyond for the causes of their organizations, leading to a quantum leap in organizational performance.

 

The 2013 “State of the Global Workplace” report by Gallup paints a very sorry picture of the modern workforce. According to the report, only 13 percent of workers worldwide are engaged or “psychologically committed to their jobs and are likely to be actively contributing to the progress of their organisations.”5
