Example Secure Resource Partitions Scenario

This example scenario walks through the process of configuring SRPs within two different vPars. Each of the vPars is running within a single nPartition. Two SRPs will be created within each of the vPars and each SRP will contain an instance of an Oracle database.

Table 7-1 shows the initial configuration of the system. In this example, the zoo21 and zoo19 virtual partitions reside within a two-cell, eight-CPU nPartition. The nPartition has a total of 8 GB of memory. The zoo21 virtual partition contains two databases instances, the HR and the Payroll databases. The zoo19 virtual partition also contains two database instances, the Finance and Sales databases.
