Instant Capacity Terminology

Instant Capacity Codeword is an encoded string of letters and numbers describing a change in the Instant Capacity state of the system. The most common codeword is a right-to-use license for unlicensed components. Codewords may also dispense Temporary Instant Capacity as described in Chapter 11, “Temporary Instant Capacity.” Codewords are available from the Instant Capacity portal after purchasing licenses for one or more Instant Capacity components. A single Instant Capacity codeword can contain RTU licenses for any number of unlicensed cells, memory, and CPUs.
