After spending some time with IDA, you may have developed some preferred settings that you wish to use as defaults every time you open a new database. In this chapter we examine the various ways in which you can modify IDA’s behavior through configuration files and menu-accessible options. We also examine where IDA stores various configuration settings and discuss the difference between database-specific settings and global settings.
