A new way of business thinking

There are five generic types of thinking we use in the work environment depending on the specific situation being considered at any given moment. We may use analytical thinking to evaluate a range of options; intuitive thinking to respond to an issue without having full awareness of the facts; executional thinking to organise our knowledge into a plan that can be carried out; or conceptual thinking where we assemble data or components to reveal a pattern or a bigger picture. And then there’s creative thinking – the kind of thinking that identifies the new and previously unseen solution or opportunity.
