Vision Two ‒ Virtual Worlds Appear
As we did in previous chapters in Part II, we will be looking at an industry vertical in this chapter. This chapter's vertical is Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT). Since this vertical goes to the core of what Spatial Computing is very much about, it will necessarily be longer than the other chapters that focus on industry verticals.
New realities are appearing thanks to Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. In a few years, though, the capabilities of VR and AR will change and morph into more sophisticated Spatial Computing glasses, which will arrive with massive increases in bandwidth thanks to 5G and new AI capabilities, which are due in part to the R&D being done on autonomous vehicles. ...
