A social resume is a little bit social and a little bit resume. Consider a social resume a real-time view of your online performance. It demonstrates your knowledge, expertise, and interests, but not in the static way an old-fashioned resume would. Employers already research you online because they want to gain more insight into who you are and what’s important to you. One way they can infer this information is from reading your status updates, blog posts, portfolio of work, or whatever else Google turns up.
