We are not done with our careers – by a long shot – but we are able to look back on invaluable experience we are eager to share with those entering an information profession now and with those who have been our colleagues for some time.
Our common theme is twofold: we were blessed to have opportunities to do work uniquely suited to our individual professional approaches and personal characteristics; and no matter what challenges we encountered, we looked for and received the input we needed to deal constructively with them and move on, the stronger and wiser for the experience.
