8. Photo, Camera, and YouTube

Your iPhone is an audio wonder, handling both calls and music, but it’s also a visual delight. And no, I’m not referring to its lustrous design. I’m talking pictures (both those you take and those you view), the moving pictures you can record with an iPhone 3GS, and those streamed from the free Web-based video sharing service YouTube.

The grumps among us might grouse that these features are some of the iPhone’s least necessary—after all, few of us absolutely require a phone that can take a quick picture or movie, display gorgeous slideshows, or stream videos of piano-playing cats—but they’re certainly among its most enjoyable.
