Want a little sugar rush of self-indulgent fun? Read the compilation shown in Figure 12-1, what I call “Insanely Great Business Idea Dismissals (IGBIDs) Throughout History.” Why is it so much fun to read this list? Because it is smugly satisfying junk food for the brain’s deepest, most biased cravings: hindsight and overconfidence.
