So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The workflow I describe here is designed to benefit creative photographers in making expressive photographs. As such, I prioritize accomplishing your expressive goal and producing the highest quality results possible, rather than efficiency and minimizing processing time. Indeed, this workflow may be ill suited for applications that require processing a large quantity of images in a short amount of time, or for applications where the resulting images are only required to meet some baseline criteria to make them usable for such purposes as publication, reportage, slideshows, ...
