A six-step process for preparation
How you approach preparing for a presentation will be informed by a number of elements. These might include how much time you have, how important you feel the presentation is, how well you know and understand the audience and the nature and content of the presentation. One thing that impacts us all when we approach preparation is our natural, unconscious habits and preferences. These habits will lead some of us to focus mainly on the content, others on the structure and still others on not making the time to prepare at all.
