Setting a new vision/strategy
As a leader, you may be responsible for defining and/or communicating a vision or strategy for the company, department or your own team. You may be presenting to your own team or to a public audience or possibly to a board or executive team. Presentations around strategy or vision often require you to engage an audience so that they connect with a desired future outcome, a way of doing things or a change in some aspect of how they work. While you may be clear on the reasons and benefits of the strategy or vision, your audience may not be and your presentations in this context are likely to be part of a much bigger piece of work – so you definitely need to focus on preparation.
