Presenting in the boardroom
Depending on your current role you may have to present in the boardroom, either as the chair or as a senior leader. For the purposes of this chapter we are assuming you have to present to the board – directors, senior executives or stakeholders. Here is your moment to ‘shine and share’ your research, ideas, project updates or even financial performance. These kinds of presentation are often intimate because you are presenting to a small group and they can support or detract from your personal credibility.
