Drives for Results Assessment Questions
- Do your employees own the results of the projects and initiatives assigned to them? Do they own and drive for results, or do they merely go through the motion of effort?
- What is your tracking mechanism for your department's goals?
- How do you ensure accountability? Start by answering these questions. Do all projects and initiatives have:
- A goal—what does winning look like?
- One clear owner?
- A project plan with dates, deliverables, and a point person for each deliverable?
- A standard check-in process for deliverables?
- When starting a new project, do you take the time to slow down to speed up?
- Are you asking probing questions to understand future needs?
