Work should be fun!
People should come to work each day excited about the prospects of making a difference. They should go home at night feeling as though they did, that they added value and are valued.
This doesn't happen enough. Too many people find drudgery in work. Too many people live for Fridays and weekends. Too many people go to work each morning with a lump in their throat and a knot in their stomach. Too many people believe there's nothing to look forward to at work, that work is about putting in time and going home. I've listened to these people, and worked with them.
It shouldn't be this way. Nor does it have to be this way.
