Chapter 6 Kaizen
The last step in the Lean Innovation Cycle is appropriately the kaizen or implementation stage. Directed by the strategy of the Hoshin Kanri, the raw insights from the gemba, and the distillation of the analyze phase, the innovation team synthesized precise and specific ideas for innovation. At long last, this kaizen stage of the Lean Innovation Cycle is concerned with bringing the ideas generated from the previous stages of the framework to the end-user. In so doing, we must consider two distinctly different challenges to achieve this goal: getting a product to market (development) and what to do once the product or service has been introduced.
