Johnny Martin is highly experienced in the techniques of safety-related learning. In his many years working for BP he was involved in many incident investigations, from minor occurrences to serious events, which included fatality. He was coordinator of the Operations Excellence community, owner of the Operations Excellence portal, and one of the instigators and coordinator of the Operations Value Process (a company-wide self-audit process, with a strong emphasis on performance and process safety).
