Knowing is half the battle! I watched way too many G.I. Joe cartoons as a kid. Every episode ended with a public service announcement like “Don’t swim in thunderstorms” or “Don’t try sweet bike jumps over downed power lines”—yep, so obvious that there are parodies on YouTube. After the G.I. Joe character taught the lesson, the kids would declare “Now I know!” and the soldier would add, “And knowing is half the battle!” Lots of exclamation points.
