1.2. Projects
In SAS Enterprise Guide, all the work you do is organized into projects. A project is a collection of related data, tasks, results, code, logs, and notes. Projects help you by keeping track of everything, even if your data are scattered in many directories or on more than one computer. That way, when you come back to an old project six months or a year later, you won’t be left wondering which data sets you used or what reports you ran.
You can have as many projects as you like, and you can use a data set over and over again in different projects, so there is a lot of flexibility.
