You probably know people who seem to have been born with what I call the influencing gene. Regardless of what they do or say, they are able to move people to their side of the conversation. To the best of my knowledge, there is no scientific evidence that the ability to influence is actually part of our DNA. Luckily for most of us, influencing is a skill that we can learn. But before I share some ideas on how you can master influence, I want to talk about what influence is and what it isn’t, as well as the relationship between influence and magnetic leadership.
