A current-day maker, unlike the artisans of the past centuries, doesn’t spend time locked up in his workshop far from prying eyes. The maker paradigm (and business model) is all about sharing: sharing ideas, sharing designs, sharing code. Since nowadays nearly all that information is digital, we are really talking about the management of project files.
