C: Sample proposal letter

I want to share an example of a proposal letter – something fairly representative of the sort an independent consultant might need to write. The style of such proposals has changed over the years. Generally, communications have become much more relaxed and informal. This is a good thing.

Your style will be different and may be more informal than mine. You should write in a way that feels right for you. I try to be relatively casual with most letters and emails, but you do need to be sensible when it matters.
