Harassment awareness training should be conducted at least every other year. All new employees should be required to attend the training program within three months of being hired and be given a copy of your policy when they accept the position. The company's policy on workplace harassment should be distributed at these training sessions and posted for all to see. The cafeteria or other break areas are mandatory areas for posting. A book such as this one should be distributed to employees or used to develop a training seminar. At a minimum, the seminar must cover:

2. The definitions of harassment
3. The investigation procedure
4. The penalties associated with violation of the policy
