WEBBING

This third fastwriting technique will appeal to those who are visual. Just as its name suggests, Webbing is a way of weaving your ideas together the way a spider spins a web. Spin your web by writing the main topic in the middle of a paper and circling the word. Next, draw lines to bubbles of ideas that relate to the main ideas. Pretty soon you will have a weblike sketch on your paper. You’ll easily see where you need more research and where your ideas are highly developed. More importantly, you’ll be able to see your report—to visualize your writing.
