—   Reach agreement on core values of the team

—   Identify individual values

—   Determine the match between individual and team values

The Idea

Values simply define what is important to the team and how it works together. Too often business has focused only on the end result, rather than the path taken to reach the end.

If the vision statement says where your team is going, values say you how you plan to get there. Values facilitate decision making by providing a foundation for sound judgment.
