Defining and Leveraging Training

The first question any leader might logically ask is this: “What is training?” Yes, I know most of us have experienced training, but was it training or education? Is there really a difference? And if there is, why does it matter?

Let’s start with a simple exercise to help define training more clearly. In the box below is a list of 20 activities. Place a checkmark in the Training column if you consider the activity to be training.
