Volker Bertram is Project Manager at Hamburg Ship Model Basin. He was formerly based at the Technical University of Hamburg as Professor for Ship Design.
Adrian Biran is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa). He has been with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Technion since 1973. He has many years’ experience as a Senior Design Engineer, project leader, researcher and research engineer, and has written several books on ships and on MATLAB.
