This book is a guide to the most common concepts in Media Studies, to assist with thinking and teaching about the media in the classrooms of secondary and tertiary education, in particular for teachers of the 14–18 age range. It is intended as an introductory handbook for teachers new to Media Studies and also as a critical reference work for teachers feeling any measure of familiarity with the history of debates and teaching about the media.
