MENTORING WORK PLAN
Michael Watkins, author of The First 90 Days, makes the point that the actions you take in your first ninety days on the job largely determine your success or failure. He says, “Failure to create momentum during the first few months virtually guarantees an uphill battle for the rest of your tenure in the job” (Watkins, 2003, xi). The same might be said of a mentoring relationship. Once your mentoring agreement is complete, it is time to roll up your sleeves and create the strategy for achieving your goals.
