Smart Education and Investing in Yourself

When I was at school, I wouldn't be seen dead in a library or bookshop. Now, reading is one of my favorite pastimes. I love learning, and buy many books, training DVDs, and magazines. I also attend seminars and surf the Internet for information.

Information and knowledge are power, and power is priceless. Knowledge is a commodity we all need, and as much as you may already know about a subject, you can always learn more.

Knowledge and education can never be taken away from you. Once it is in your head, it's yours forever. If you were to lose all your possessions in an earthquake tomorrow, you would still have all your knowledge.

Successful People Study

The super-successful are perpetual students. You've heard the saying, the rich get richer? It's true. I've sold various how-to information collections, including newsletters and training DVDs, and it never ceases to amaze me that many of the buyers are already very rich and successful.

I have hundreds of doctors, dentists, lawyers, and businesspeople as clients, all of whom are already very successful, yet they still want to know more and are willing to seek and pay for new knowledge.

Use Your Local Library

Most large towns and cities in the UK, Europe, and the United States have excellent libraries, and most are free.

I am very fortunate that my local library is a large one, and offers:

Books (of course)
Magazines (including difficult-to-find trade magazines)
Newspapers (including overseas) ...
